Conie Fong's Curly Piglets

Oh my stars and cotton socks, Conie Fong's new image Curly Piglets are just the CUTEST!!!!! You have got to check them out! Aren't they adorable!?!? You can get your own HERE. Check out the rest of her images on her Etsy Shop!

I coloured the two cuties with Copic markers and used a corner rounder to create the rounded edges. Add a little faux stitching with my Staedtler Liner and voila! focal image done!

The chipboard sentiment comes from Make it Crafty (they have all sorts of fun stuff in their store!) I've coloured the top layer with pink Copics to match the little Piggies, and the bottom layer I've coloured with black.

I've been really loving this yellow satin ribbon from Stampin' Up! lately. It's been in my stash for years, but I haven't used it much! Doesn't it complement the ribbons on the piggies beautifully?

The lace on the other edge wasn't part of the original plan, but I accidentally cut the designer papers too small on one side, so....

Accidents are just opportunities to be creative, right? Right?!?!

You can't see it in any of my pictures, but the sentiment is covered with Crystal Effects (another brand is Glossy Accents), which creates a nice glossy texture on whatever you cover it with. I love the feel of it once it's dried!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Let's Craft and Create with Aurora Wings!

It's time for another Challenge over at Let's Craft and Create challenge blog!!!!  Yay!!!!! This month's theme is Anything Goes with the Option of Easter. Click HERE to see all of the inspiration from the Design Team and join in the fun!

For my card, I've used Aurora Wings' adorable Spring Sprite (Get her on Etsy or Website) P.s. she's on sale on the website and you can get her with or without the bunny ears! Is she not the cutest little thing you've ever seen in your life?!?! I just love all of the Sprites (in case you hadn't noticed hehe)

Aurora Wings is also holding a monthly challenge on their blog! This month it's a BINGO challenge, and you'll definitely want to join in. It's super fun! Here's the board. Notice there are colours as well as embellishments/elements on each square? Well, here's the cool part - when you choose your line, you can use either the colour or the element; a combination of both; or use all of them! I decided to go crazy and do a DOUBLE BLACKOUT, meaning I used all the colours and all the elements on my card. It was challenging, but oh, so fun!

The lovely flowers are from Petal Lu. The button, yellow ribbon, linen twine, and the Elegant Eggplant card stock are all from Stampin' Up! The paper doily and background paper were part of a gift from a sweet friend, Susan.

The sentiment is my own handwriting using a Black Copic marker.

Any links in this post are highlighted and you can click on them to get to the various challenges and stores.

Thanks for stopping by! You should definitely join in on BOTH challenges!
